Rules and Terms of Service
» By playing Aramii you agree to follow all rules published herein as well as obey the guidance, rules, and commands of mods and administrators. While we value your opinions on administration and site issues, we ask you to voice these in a respectful fashion.» Any breach of the rules or TOS will result in punishment by freezing or deleting of your account, or taking away, deleting, or redistributing your any and all of your items, amis, or currency.
» All material, code, and content are copyright Aramii. Copies, displays, and or derivations of our content without express permission are not allowed. The code and look and feel of the site is copyright 2007 Aramii.
» Aramii is not liable for any data loss or harm to your computer or hardware in playing or using the game.
» Aramii reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the game without notice, including gameplay, gameplay strategy, images, and features.
» We reserve the right to change these rules, terms, and conditions at any time in any fashion without your notice. We reserve the right to remove any content on the site without your notice. While we will strive to be fair and honest in all of our decisions, by playing Aramii you agree that we may take anything away from you for any reason.
» Aramii is in beta; aspects of gameplay such as amis, upgraded accounts, breeding, etc. may be changed at any time.
Conduct
» By playing Aramii you agree not to intentionally scam other players for items, amis, or money. You also agree to report any errors or bugs which would allow you to obtain money, amis, or any other items in a way not intended by the game. Reporting a legitimate bug will be rewarded!» Aramii will not tolerate the harassment of other players, profanity, or spamming. The definition of spamming is flooding/posting repeatedly in the forums or by messages, or posting/sending items that are irrelevant or miscategorized. Harassing someone includes deliberately trying to provoke someone, contacting someone with inappropriate content, or spreading rumors or negative information about a certain player. This means you MAY NOT give out names or ID numbers of players to other players who have supposedly harrased you or done something you feel is wrong. You many not post forum posts disparaging a person. You may not suggest that someone has wronged you, even if you do not provide a player name. Instead, please contact an admin or mod or submit a mod report. This is a serious offense.
» Please be respectful and polite to all players.
» Please keep subjects disccused and displayed rated G. This means no swearing, cybering, explicit roleplaying, etc. Additionally, you may not discuss the following topics under any circumstances: politics, religion, violence, sexuality, bodily functions, and any other explicit topic.
» If a moderator asks you to behave in a certain way in chat or in the forums, you must listen to that moderator whether or not you believe that the rule is valid or just. If you have questions about a moderator's direction, message Mariko (#1) with specific details about the incident (forum post link, screenshot) for review.
» All content you make accessible or submit to the site must be your own and not under anyone else's copyright. Aramii reserves the right to remove any information we find objectionable without your notice.
» Anything posted on Aramii must be in English. If you post in a different language we will have to delete your post and ask you to write it again in English.
Community/Gameplay Guidelines
» "Mini-modding," that is, taking matters into your own hands and/or trying to solve problems that should be solved by mods is not allowed.» Do not respond to forum posts or messages which break the rules. Do not admonish other players privately or publicly for breaking rules. Do not admonish players for breaking this rule. Please report misconduct or prohibited behavior through Mod Reports.
» Art theft, that is, the use, display, copying, or manipulation of someone else's art without his/her express permission, is strictly prohibited. If you are found violating this rule your account will be frozen.
Currency, Accounts, Items
» Aramii does not offer refunds or returns for any reason. Once you purchase any kind of currency or item in the game, the items are considered fictional "game items" and do not correspond to a dollar amount. These game items can be taken away at any time if you breach our TOS or Rules.» You may trade in-game items, accounts, amis, or benefits for those of other games. However, if a different site restricts a certain kind of trade, then the rule also applies to Aramii. For example, if a different site blocks trading their items/currency/pets for AP, then you may not trade Aramii items for that site's donation currency. If you need clarification on this rule, please post in the Help! forum with a detailed description of the other site's rules as well as what you want to trade, and send Mariko (#1) a message with a link to the forum post. Your question will be answered as soon as possible.
» It is forbidden to trade AP, AMG, amis, items, breedings, or any other service for real life items or money.
» Breaking trading rules are a serious offenses and will result in disciplining or your account being frozen. If you encounter someone who offers you an illegal trade, please report it in the Mod Panel.
» You may have one account and one account only. You may switch or sell accounts, but you must make the switch within seven (7) days.
» Please do not send an excess of gifts or value-imbalanced trades to accounts with IPs linked to your household. Occasional (every few weeks) gifts are fine. The exception is items, amis, breedings, etc. which you obtained through donating to the site. For example, if you donate to buy customs and would like to send a member of your own household amis from your breedings, then there is no restriction to how many you can send.
Privacy
» Aramii will never sell or otherwise reveal any of your information to a third party.» Do not share any sensitive personal information (such as your real name, etc.) or account information with anyone under any circumstances. You may not share accounts under any circumstances. Aramii is not responsible for any consequences resulting from such actions.
» Passwords are not saved in clear text, and cannot be retrieved. Passwords however may be reset with the proper identification.
